Luke 2:25-32
25 And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon, and this man was just and devout, waiting for the Consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him. 26 And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ. 27 So he came by the Spirit into the temple. And when the parents brought in the Child Jesus, to do for Him according to the custom of the law, 28 he took Him up in his arms and blessed God….Behold: to see or observe (a thing or person, especially a remarkable or impressive one)
1. The Waiting Room is filled with Expectancy and Urgency of Christ’s Coming.
Luke 2:25
…this man was just and devout, waiting for the Consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him.Simeon - hearkening (to give heed or attention to what is said; listen), hearing, hears, obeys or hearing with acceptance not reluctance
Simeon was Just - He was right with God both in heart and action.
Romans 1:17 NLT
This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.”Lamentations 3:25-26
25 The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, To the soul who seeks Him.26 It is good that one should hope and wait quietly For the salvation of the Lord.Without faith the wait becomes a weight.
Simeon was Devout- taking hold aggressively of what is good.
The waiting room is where I hear it, and take hold of it.

Vs. 27 - So he came by the Spirit into the temple.
The greatest gift in the waiting room is allowing the Holy Spirit to make room in your life for a face to face encounter with Jesus.
Luke 2:27-28
27 And when the parents brought in the Child Jesus, to do for Him according to the custom of the law, 28 he (Simeon) took Him (Jesus) up in his arms and blessed God…The greatest gift you get from waiting in your life is embracing Jesus and glorifying Him with your life!
Luke 2:29-32 29
“Lord, now You are letting Your servant depart in peace, According to Your word; 30 For my eyes have seen Your salvation 31 Which You have prepared before the face of all peoples, 32 A light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, And the glory of Your people Israel.”
