Gifts of the Holy Spirit

  • The Holy Spirit is not our roommate, He’s actually our landlord.

    1 Corinthians 6:19-20
19 Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, 20 for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body.

    John 16:13
When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future. - NLT

The Holy Spirit gives you a Holy Advantage by bringing you assurance, giving you guidance and empowering you with confidence.

The Holy Spirit promises to reveal to you God’s plan and purpose even in the midst of the problems that may come your way.

    1 Corinthians 12:1,4-11
1 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant… 4 There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: 8 for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by [f]the same Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. 11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

Power for effectively ministering and helping people comes from personal intimacy with God.

    1 Corinthians 12:7

    The word of wisdom
    The word of knowledge
    The gift of faith
    The gifts of healings
    The working of miracles,
    The gift of prophecy
The gift of discernment of spirits
